This is a game made for the Score Space Speedjam #10 with the theme "Loop"
Description:
Violet Gauntlet is a 3D fast paced platformer(?) that takes the question of "What if we took the best part of Overwatch (Doomfist) and mixed it with peak? (Titanfall)" Well after sprinkling in a bit of style to the mixture I ended up with 6 levels in Violet Gauntlet.
Controls:
WASD + Spacebar to move around
LMB for a basic punch that bounces you off the environment
RMB for a charged punch that sends you forward
Shift to slide and accelerate down slopes
Developer Note:
The main thing that I worked on with this project is the player and their movement. The movement system in this game is incredibly in-depth with many ways to preserve momentum. This game is meant to be broken and have insane speedrun routes. I am excited to see all the times people can get! (also I completely understand muting the "music", it was cobbled together in like 30 minutes)
